Ron Schwessinger studied Molecular Biotechnology at Heidelberg University in Germany. For his MSc thesis he was working at German Cancer Research Center, on the project concerning Characterization of the Epigenetic Landscape of Neuroblastoma using Bayesian Network Inference. In 2016 he joined the team of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jim Hughes at MRC WIMM Centre for Computational Biology at the University of Oxford, where he works on his PhD project on the principles of the regulatory chromatin context and incorporating them into computational models for gene regulation.
