Speaker: Urszula Smyczyńska

Urszula Smyczyńska (Ph.D.) - an assistant professor at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine of the Medical University of Lodz, Poland. Urszula graduated in biomedical engineering from Lodz University of Technology (2013 BSc) and AGH University of Science and Technology (2014 MSc, 2018 PhD). During her graduate and PhD studies she conducted research on applicability of artificial neural networks to the prediction of growth hormone treatment efficiency in short-stature children. Currently, she works on projects in biostatistics, bioinformatics and medical informatics, including biomedical data analysis and design of healthcare IT systems.
